ARTIST STATEMENT

Photos are always used to capture moments or memories. But photography should not keep staying on this stage. With a suitable use of subject matter and light source, there is a greater potential to create stunning artworks and photographs. 

Illusorisch is a German which means illusory,​ phantom. In this artwork, I tried to use photography as a media to create a series of photos that shock audience's vision and recognition. It is a combination of light, shadow and unique angle. I will call these photos a "semi-illusion" photos. I hope the audiences can enjoy and indulge in the sense of confusion and unrecognised through looking at these photos.
